The Mighty Toddler - Robin Barker

I just bought a copy of The Mighty Toddler by Robin Barker. I am a huge fan of Baby Love and have referred to it many, many times since H was born.

I was having a quick flick through and on page 4 - What are the basic things a Toddler needs? I read the following; I loved it and wanted to share it here..

Bobbi Brown - How to videos..

I love these how-to videos by Bobbi Brown. I know she has been a cult brand for many years but she is a fairly recent discovery for me. I am a huge fan. The first of the two videos below shows a 10 step process to perfect makeup and I really love the final look. It's sweet and pretty - perfect for daytime.

The second video is her Taxi TV video which shows how to do the perfect smoky eye in the back of a taxi using her long wear cream eyeshadows. I love how easy it looks to do and how terrific the final look is.

I have just bought some of the long wear cream shadows on line so will let you know how I find them when they arrive.

I would love to hear if any of you use them..if you are familiar with any of the Bobbi Brown products? If so...which ones are your favourite?...

Tourism Australia Ad

I saw this on TV last night for the first time and I'm really impressed. I think Tourism Australia have got it right this time. We have a stunning country and this ad really lets it speak for itself.

Diane Kruger at the 65th Cannes Film Festival

I have just been looking at some of the photos around the net of the 65th Cannes film festival. So many beautiful outfits...


The one who really stood out to me was Diane Kruger. As a first time juror at Cannes she knocked it out of the park in the fashion stakes. I have been a style admirer of hers for a long time. She makes everything look so effortless and cool. I was just reading that she doesn't have a stylist...as she said herself in a 2011 interview with Vogue UK "I come from fashion, and who knows better what I like than myself?"


Here are my favourite looks from her red carpet appearances throughout the festival. I think my overall favourite is the gorgeous Christian Dior she wore to the closing ceremony.

Vogue Australia - Delta Goodrem

My copy of the July Vogue arrived on Friday and I am blown away by Delta's cover. I think she looks terrific. Do you agree?

Gilded Mirror Inspiration...

I am currently looking for the perfect mirror for over our fireplace in the sitting room. Getting the right dimensions and just the right amount of fancy is much harder to find than expected.
